On Thursday, December 13th, DanceAbility Week will continue
with a free video showing and discussion, at the Eugene Public Library in the Bascom-Tykeson room, from
5:00-6:15p.m. Alito Alessi, the Artistic Director of DanceAbility
International, will present highlights of recent award-winning choreographies
and workshop documentaries. Dancers with and without disabilities will be on
hand to take questions and talk about DanceAbility’s work. Come join us for a fun evening!
Emery Blackwell is retiring this year (2014) from being a volunteer dancer with DanceAbility International. From his home-base in Eugene, Oregon, he has inspired tens of thousands of people world-wide through his joyful dancing and teaching spirit. We hope you will join us as we honor Emery's contributions. He opened countless hearts and minds to the power of people with and without disabilities working together to open new worlds.
